Al-Ahli confirmed today, Saturday, that Frenchman Enzo Millot has left the club, with the management sanctioning his move to newly promoted Al-Diriyah in the Saudi Roshn League during the current summer window.

Al-Diriyah had come close to landing Brazilian Malcom from Al-Hilal, only for him to join the UAE's Al-Jazira on Friday.

The club explained on its official "X" account that Millot joins Al-Diriyah on a season-long loan, opening a new chapter in the Saudi league after just one campaign in the shirt of "Al-Raqi".

Millot had arrived at Al-Ahli last summer from Germany's Stuttgart, signing a contract that runs until the summer of 2028. Now both parties have agreed a loan spell at Al-Diriyah.

His single season with Al-Ahli brought silverware. The French midfielder lifted the Saudi Super Cup and played his part in the AFC Champions League Elite triumph, leaving a clear mark on a campaign that delivered a string of major honours for "Al-Raqi".

According to his figures on "Transfermarkt", Millot made 40 appearances across various domestic and continental competitions, scoring 9 goals and adding 7 assists. Those are notable attacking returns for a midfielder.

His exit to Al-Diriyah lands as Al-Ahli prepare to host Abha this evening, Saturday, in the second round of the Roshn League. The AFC Champions League holders opened their domestic campaign with a 1-0 win over Al-Diriyah in the first round.
