Feyenoord receive offer and can finally get rid of multi-million flop
Hajduk Split have formally approached Feyenoord for Neraysho Kasanwirjo, according to Feyenoord Transfermarkt. The Croatian club hold concrete interest in the 24-year-old defender and have now submitted an offer to De Kuip.
Feyenoord are willing to let Kasanwirjo leave and want a permanent transfer.
Kasanwirjo recently returned to Feyenoord after a loan spell at Fortuna Sittard. Earlier, the Rotterdam club had already sent him out on loan to Rapid Wien, Rangers FC and Molde FK.
Back in January 2023, Feyenoord signed Kasanwirjo from FC Groningen for two million euros. He has not managed to break through at De Kuip since arriving in Rotterdam. His contract at De Kuip still runs until the summer of 2027.
Amsterdam-born Kasanwirjo is naturally a central defender, though he can also play at right-back and left-back. The right-footed defender is 1.85 metres tall and made thirteen appearances for the Netherlands Under-21s.
Transfermarkt estimate Kasanwirjo's current market value at 1.5 million euros.
