Riyadh Season will be a new official sponsor of the 2027 Spanish Super Cup, despite the tournament not being staged in Saudi Arabia.

Turki Al-Sheikh, chairman of Saudi Arabia's General Entertainment Authority, confirmed the deal in a statement on his official "X" account, announcing Riyadh Season's sponsorship of the Spanish Super Cup.

Under the agreement, the company "Sela" will manage the tournament's commercial rights and operational delivery, working alongside the Spanish and Turkish football federations.

According to the statement, the sponsorship extends Riyadh Season's role in backing major sporting events and boosting its international presence through partnerships with the world's most prominent sporting institutions and tournaments.

Real Madrid, Barcelona, Atletico Madrid and Real Sociedad will contest the 2027 Spanish Super Cup at the Ataturk Olympic Stadium in Istanbul.

It marks the first time the competition has been held outside Saudi Arabia since 2021. Riyadh staged the 2022, 2023 and 2024 editions, while the last two took place in Jeddah.
