De Zerbi confirms Spurs returns for Carabao Cup tie with Charlton – and gives update on Maddison

Tottenham boss Roberto De Zerbi has confirmed Micky van de Ven and Pedro Porro will return to the squad for Wednesday’s Carabao Cup clash with Charlton.

Dominic Solanke is also available to start, while new signing Savio remains a doubt after only recently joining the club.

“Van de Ven comes on the bench, Pedro Porro comes on the bench,” De Zerbi said.

“Solanke is available to play, to start the game.

“Savio, I don’t know. I don’t know if he’s ready to play, if everything is good to play or to come on the bench.”

However, De Zerbi confirmed Mohammed Kudus is not yet ready to return, while James Maddison has suffered a minor shoulder injury.

“Kudus is not ready yet,” he said.

“Maddison suffered a small injury on the shoulder.”
