Celtic learn festive TV schedule as Rangers and Dundee United fixtures selected

Two of Celtic’s festive Premiership fixtures have been selected for live television coverage as the SPFL confirmed its latest broadcast schedule.

Martin O’Neill’s side will face a demanding run of matches over the Christmas and New Year period as they continue their pursuit of a sixth consecutive Scottish Premiership title.

Celtic’s trip to Tannadice to face Dundee United on Wednesday, December 30 has been selected by Premier Sports and will kick off at 7.45pm.

The Hoops enjoyed a comfortable visit to Dundee earlier this season, running out 4-0 winners thanks to goals from Auston Trusty, Camilo Duran, Sebastian Tounekti and Benjamin Nygren.

There has also been confirmation of the broadcast details for the third Glasgow derby of the campaign.

Celtic will travel to Ibrox on Sunday, January 3, with the fixture to be shown live on Sky Sports.

Before then, O’Neill and his players have two meetings with Derek McInnes’ side to negotiate next month.
