Celtic 3-0 Aberdeen – Bhoys put on a show for King Kenny

Celtic made it four wins out of four in the league in a totally dominate display over a hapless Aberdeen side. That’s also eleven straight Scottish Premiership victories on the bounce for Martin O’Neill’s side and there certainly doesn’t look like anything is going to stop them on this form.

First half goals from Camilo Duran, and Benjamin Nygren, and Yang blew away a poor Dons side, with the second half being nothing more than a mere formality in a rain drenched evening in Paradise. Duran’s wonderful opener would have been one King Kenny himself would have been proud of.

Indeed if it wasn’t for Muller in the Dons goal, the Hoops could have won by a much bigger margin, but in the end it was an impressive performance from Martin O’Neill’s side on a night of wet and blustery conditions.

Camilo Duran continues to impress in the main striker role as he scored his third goal in two games in the absence of Kasper Hogh. The Colombian opened the scoring with a sublime strike, and was a constant menace to Dons defence before making way for new loan signing Shumaira Mheuka in the 75th minute.

The Chelsea youngster hardly got a sniff in front of goal, but looked a real live wire in attack, and looks very much like he will be a useful addition to this Celtic side.

Fellow new signing Oliver Sorensen who is on a season long loan deal from Parma, also made his debut from the bench, replacing the mightily impressive Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain on the 63rd minute, and despite not having a spectacular debut, he looks like he will add some much needed energy to Martin O’Neill’s midfield.

Colby Donovan put in another impressive showing and Haissem Hassan was once again lively down that right wing, with just about every cross he attempted reaching the danger zone for the Dons.

The future looks very bright for his Celtic side, domestically speaking, and despite being deprived of star players such as Alistair Johnston, Kieran Tierney, and Kasper Hogh, we still looked like a very formidable side.

With an influx of new signings still to settle in, and more on the way, this Celtic side will only get better, something that will be a frightening prospect for the rest of the league as Celtic continue to pick up the three points.
