Jurrien Timber could be in contention to return for Arsenal’s Premier League clash with Chelsea after Mikel Arteta confirmed the defender is in “really good condition”.

Timber has been sidelined with injury since last season but has been back involved in training of late.

“Yeah, he is in really good condition at the moment. He is in a good place,” Arteta said ahead of the clash.

“We will decide tomorrow after training.”

Arteta also provided an update on Cristhian Mosquera, who was taken off in the win over Aston Villa.

“It was more precaution than anything else, so we will have to see how he feels,” he added.

Bruno Guimaraes is also being assessed after picking up a knock against Aston Villa.

“He had a knock against Villa and he is being assessed,” Arteta said.

“Hopefully tomorrow he will be okay for training.”
