Rangers hero Ally McCoist is 'worried' about Celtic after what he has seen from Martin O'Neill's men early in the season. Celtic have now won all four of their games to kick off the new season, including Wednesday night's dominant Champions League qualifying win over LASK.

Celtic still need to get more business done to fill key holes in their squad, with another midfielder - or two - a left-back and a goalkeeper still required. But the signings they have made have been of particularly high quality.

Striker Kasper Hogh has four goals in as many games, and while all of those goals came in one game, he is offering much more than just goals. Camilo Duran has scored three so far, and while playing out wide, while Mika Baur looks to be a very useful player in midfield, appearing to be particularly brave on the ball.

We haven't seen enough of Haissem Hassan just yet, and the winger doesn't look particularly sharp, but his holidays ran late into the summer after the World Cup, so it's likely he will take a little time to get to full speed.

McCoist on Celtic

"Celtic have had a great start," McCoist told TalkSport. "I don't think there's any doubt the way Celtic have started has helped his recovery, because I thought they were comfortable in the opener. Kasper Hogh looked the real deal against Kilmarnock.

"I watched him down there, a proper centre forward's goal. Then the signing of Hassan, I don't mind telling you I was impressed with him in the World Cup, arguably in one of the runs of the tournament which ended up with a disallowed goal if you remember. So yes, worrying signs for the rest of the league, no getting away from it."

Rangers have had a much more difficult start to the season, only winning twice under Derek McInnes to date, including a Conference League qualifying first leg and a Premier Sports Cup game, while they are winless in the league.

The Gers will have more business to come, but they do not look close to being at Celtic's standard, even taking bias out of the equation, which likely explains McCoist's concern.
