PSG look like they’ve wrapped up all their summer business – but they could yet add another attacker according to French sources.

PSG’s summer so far has been in two phases – outgoing, and then incoming.

First they sold Kang-in Lee, Goncalo Ramos and Randal Kolo Muani.

Then they replaced them with Ferran Torres, Mika Godts and Maghnes Akliouche.

They are expecting to sell Bradley Barcola too, but given RKM wasn’t in the squad last season, it’s still three in and three out for Luis Enrique from a first team squad perspective.

However, if Ibrahim Mbaye leaves too (and that’s increasingly likely), they will be a man down on last season. Reliable French transfer journalist Tanzi Loiz says that PSG are “studying the possibility” of buying a another forward to level things up if Mbaye and Barcola both go.

There is no indication who that might be yet – whoever it is won’t be getting many games, so a young player is probably most likely, taking Mbaye’s role in the group as a dynamic backup with the chance to learn and improve.

In other news…

There have been some claims this week that Liverpool are in direct talks with Ibrahim Mbaye over personal terms – but the Athletic have denied them strongly.

PSG saw a player banned for three games and their match this weekend moved. It’s not been a good day in Paris.

PSG want £140m for Bradley Barcola, and the ball is now in Liverpool’s court to see if they will pay it.

The Barcola replacement, Mika Godts, is already in the building and training with PSG after signing from Ajax.
