Bradley Barcola says goodbye to the club in heartfelt message
Bradley Barcola has officially joined Liverpool from PSG in a €140 million deal. The 23-year-old has played a massive role in the Parisians' success in the Champions League in the last two seasons. Following his move, the France international winger has delivered a heartfelt message to the fans and the club:
"Dear PSG supporters, I wanted to announce my departure to you, but first I wanted to say thank you. A huge thank you, because from the very first minutes I played, you supported me and helped me. Even in the most difficult moments, you lifted me up. Today, I’m leaving with a heart full of emotion, but the memory of playing for PSG will remain engraved in my mind forever.
He then thanked the President of the club, Nasser Al-Khelaifi, his teammates, the staff and his coach Luis Enrique:
"He (Nasser Al-Khelaifi) helped me flourish in such a great club and in such a beautiful city. I would also like to thank the coach and all his staff, who helped me become a better player and improve so much. I also thank him for everything he did for the team and everything he did for the club. Finally, I would like to thank the medical staff and the club’s employees. Once again, thank you Paris."
Ousmane Dembélé set to extend his contract with the club
As reported by several sources, including French media giant Canal +, Ousmane Dembélé is set to officially extend his contract with the back-to-back Champions League winners. The 2025 Ballon d'Or and PSG have reach an agreement which will see his contract run until 2030.
The long and difficult negotiations have opened the door for the 29-year-old to potentially depart the club with several Saudi teams showing interests for the player. However, the player who has been instrumental in the two consecutive European titles won by the club made the choice to stay at the club, hoping to keep this incredible story going.
Therefore, the player added two more years to his current deal, with no information on a potential salary increase filtering at this point, and show now his dedication to the project led by Luis Enrique.
