Lazio agreement for Dia to Rennes for €8.5m, request Man from PSV
Lazio have agreed to sell Boulaye Dia to Rennes for circa €8.5m, claim Sky Sport Italia, and aim to replace him with PSV Eindhoven striker Dennis Man.
The Biancocelesti started Dia in last night’s 1-0 Serie A victory over Genoa at the Stadio Olimpico, despite the fact it was well known he was on the transfer market.
Lazio sell Dia and waiting for their Man
It was likely his final appearance in the Aquile jersey, because Sky Sport Italia report that an agreement has been struck for the sale to Rennes for circa €8.5m.
The 29-year-old had joined Lazio from their sister club Salernitana in 2024 in a deal worth around €11.3m, going on to score 14 goals with six assists in 81 competitive games.
While Dia is packing his bags for the medical tests in France, Lazio need to find a suitable replacement.
Sky Sport Italia report their primary target is PSV Eindhoven forward Man, who is no stranger to Serie A thanks to his time at Parma.
However, it won’t be easy to convince the Dutch side to accept the loan with option to buy terms on offer from the Biancocelesti.
Parma sold him last summer for €9.1m plus add-ons.
