A strong start for Barça

Barcelona took the lead at Elche in their La Liga opener, Raphinha converting from the spot in the 15th minute.

Referee Quintero González pointed to the spot early on after Raphinha was brought down inside the box.

Iturralde González, refereeing expert for the newspaper "AS" and "Cadena SER" radio, had no doubts: "At first glance, there is no room for doubt. The player did not dive."

He added: "Raphinha was struck on his raised right leg."
