Real Madrid fans are furious with Dean Huijsen after an 'incredibly stupid' photo on social media

Dean Huijsen has come under heavy fire online. In a photo with Real Madrid team-mate Thiago Pitarch, the centre-back can be seen on his phone in the car.

A photo of Huijsen is spreading quickly online. Real Madrid fans are furious and have reacted in huge numbers to what he is doing in the picture.

"Real Madrid have spoiled this boy far too much. He clearly thinks the media won’t blow up this image...," one person responded.

"Texting and driving at the same time. And then posting it on the internet as well. Oil-stupid...," another posted. "My club are full of idiots and criminals. It is sad to see us sliding like this," wrote a Real Madrid fan.

"Dear Florentino (Perez, ed.), please act. Better late than never. These unbearable types are ruining the image of the biggest club on the planet," it further reads.

During the last international break, Huijsen was allowed to rejoin Spain after national team coach Luis de La Fuente had left him at home for the 2026 World Cup.

For Real Madrid's next match, he is suspended after seeing a red card just before the international break in the Madrid derby against Atlético (2-1 defeat).
