Hansi Flick has moved to end the uncertainty over Lamine Yamal, confirming the forward is fit to face Valencia in La Liga despite Spanish reports suggesting he could miss out.

Those reports claimed Yamal sat out Barcelona's group training session on Saturday, casting doubt over his availability for Sunday's fourth-round clash.

The teenager stayed inside the gym while the rest of Flick's available squad trained on the pitch.

Asked about Yamal's condition in his press conference, Flick said: "He went out to train late, but he is ready for tomorrow's match."

He explained the reason for the individual session, as reported by "AS": "He took a knock (injury), and it was better for him to train at a lower intensity, but he is in ideal condition to play tomorrow."

Victory would send Barcelona clear at the top of La Liga on 12 points. Real Madrid remain stuck on 9 after Real Betis handed them their first defeat of the season, winning 1-0.
