Flick receives good news regarding Barcelona's signings
Will it be a perfect start?
Barcelona have registered all four of their summer signings. Karim Adeyemi, Anthony Gordon, Rodrigo and Joao Cancelo each received the necessary approval, though Bardghji will miss the Elche clash while bureaucratic procedures rumble on.
According to the Spanish newspaper "Marca", Cancelo was the last of the quartet to be cleared. His registration appeared on the Spanish league association's website at exactly 10:30 on Saturday morning, while he was out training.
The registration process started on Friday. Rodrigo was the first to get the green light from the relevant authority, despite still working through individual training.
Adeyemi's name landed in the records of the Spanish league association next, followed by Gordon.
Cancelo's final approval came through during Saturday morning's session, which means all four are now eligible to face Elche should Hansi Flick choose to include them. Rodrigo, the Madrid-born midfielder, continued his individual training for a second day running.
Bardghji, by contrast, will not make the Barcelona squad for tomorrow's game. He will hold a registration card with Barcelona Atletic but cannot feature against Elche while the paperwork needed to clear him is still being processed.
He trained with the reserve team on Saturday, waiting for those procedures to be completed so he can finally play.
