FC Barcelona’s financial recovery is reflected in LaLiga’s latest squad cost limit figures for the 2026/27 season. According to Barcelona Universal, Barcelona’s limit has risen from €432.807 million to €582.769 million. That is an increase of €149.962 million, or 34.6%, from the previous figure.

The updated limit places Barcelona second among LaLiga clubs, behind Real Madrid’s €832.786 million. Atlético Madrid have a limit of €361.287 million, followed by Villarreal at €170.564 million and Athletic Club at €139.203 million.

Barcelona were able to approach the summer transfer window with greater ambition, strengthening the squad and giving Hansi Flick more options across the team, according to the report. The figures suggest the club have improved their squad while increasing their financial capacity, providing more room to plan within LaLiga’s financial framework.
