Nottm Forest have lost just once in the Europa League this season
Recommended bet: Nottm Forest to win
Utrecht currently sit seventh in the Eredivisie table having won six of their opening 15 league matches this season.
In Europe, however, the Dutch side are way down in 32nd position in the Europa League league phase, having lost four and drawn just one of the first five matches.
Nottm Forest are in a decent enough position to challenge for a top-eight spot, as, after claiming eight points from five games they are 16th in the standings, albeit just two points behind FC Porto in eighth.

Team news
The home side could be without the services of Daby van den Berg and Rafik El Arguioui for the clash against Forest.
Aside from that, they have a near full strength squad to choose from on Thursday evening.
Sean Dyche, however, is not quite as lucky. The Premier League outfit will be missing Chris Wood, Dilane Bakwa, Oleksandr Zinchenko, Douglas Luiz, Taiwo Awoniyi and Ola Aina due to injuries.
Murillo and Ryan Yates are both doubts ahead of the game, with late fitness tests potentially being used to see if the pair are fit to take to the field.
The stats
This will be the first ever competitive meeting between the clubs.
Forest have lost just once against Dutch opposition across four matches. In the UEFA Cup second round during the 1983/84 season, they defeated PSV 1-0 and 2-1 respectively.
During their triumphant European Cup campaign in 1979/80, Brian Clough’s men defeated Ajax 2-1 on aggregate, despite losing in the Netherlands.
This season, the Premier League side have defeated Porto and Malmo in Europe's second tier club competition and across their five matches, Dyche's men have scored nine goals.
Utrecht, on the other hand, have found the back of the net on just two occasions, conceding seven goals in the process.
Domestically, the Dutch side have drawn their previous three matches, although they did seal a victory over Ajax before that run.
Forest have improved under Dyche, despite losing 3-0 to Everton at the weekend, having drawn with Manchester United and won against Liverpool in recent weeks.

Prediction
If Forest can seal their third European victory in succession, it could vault them up the Europa League table.
Having showcased their continental pedigree against Porto and Malmo most recently, they should have enough to come away from the Netherlands with all three points.
The home side will be desperate to get a victory on the board and they will certainly not make it easy for Dyche and his men on Thursday evening.
Even so, expect the away team to emerge victorious at the Stadion Galgenwaard.
