Photos: Milan debut Europa League training shirt ahead of Benfica clash

There is no time to rest for Ruben Amorim and his men, who have already started preparations for the game against Benfica on Wednesday.

Yesterday evening, Milan fought back from 2-0 down to draw the game, taking one point with them from the trip to Stadio Olimpico. However, regardless of whether you see it as one point gained or two points lost, there is no time to dwell on that.

Benfica are up next for the Rossoneri as the first round of the league phase in the Europa League starts next week. It’s quite a tough first opponent, it has to be said, but at least it will be played in front of the fans at San Siro.

Since the game is scheduled for Wednesday, Amorim and his staff started the preparations at Milanello today. Those who didn’t start yesterday worked on the pitch in the standard group training, while those who did start (and those coming on at half-time) had a recovery session.

As seen in the images published by Milan, a new training kit was debuted at Milanello today. It’s the one that will be used ahead of the UEFA games, i.e. Europa League this season, as opposed to the gold training shirt we tend to see before the league games.
