Wrexham vs Leicester predictions: Goals all but guaranteed at the Racecourse

Wrexham have lost just two of their last eight matches in all competitions
Leicester currently occupy 13th in the league standings
Recommended bet: Over 2.5 goals
Wrexham find themselves sitting in tenth place in the Championship table and within touching distance of the play-off places.
The Welshmen remain just three points behind Preston in sixth place and their recent form suggests they might be peaking at precisely the right time.
For Leicester, it has not been a campaign to remember. The Foxes were one of the favourites to seal an instant return back to the top-flight, but they currently sit 12 points off an automatic promotion spot.
A play-off place is within their sights, but a big few months is needed.

Team news
Phil Parkinson will be missing a few players for this home clash with the Foxes, with former City goalkeeper Danny Ward, Aaron James and Andy Cannon all available for the match.
Aside from those three absentees, the Dragons has plenty of options for the midweek game, especially with striker Kieffer Moore ready to return to the starting XI.
Harry Souttar will once again miss out for the visitors, as the defender recovers from an Achilles issue.
Elsewhere, Aaron Ramsey is also likely to be absent following an injury picked up during the festive period for the Foxes.
The stats
The 1-1 draw between the clubs back in September was just the ninth meeting between these two clubs since 1960.
Leicester have only lost once across those fixtures and that came during a League Cup match nearly 50 years ago.
Wrexham may have lost last time out, but the club did send Nottingham Forest packing from the FA Cup earlier this month.
That result came after four successive league victories, vaulting them up to tenth in the table.
The Foxes have won just three of their last seven second tier matches, suffering a 2-1 defeat to Coventry last time out.
Across their previous 10 games, over 2.5 goals would have landed in nine of them, with a dodgy defence preventing them from being much higher up in the standings.
Goals have also been plentiful in Wrexham's last 10 matches. Indeed, this same bet would have landed in seven of the last 10 games the Welsh club have played.

Prediction
Calling a winner of this match is tough, especially as Leicester can seemingly pull a result out of nowhere.
While sitting 13th, the Foxes have defeated Ipswich and drawn with both Middlesbrough and Coventry this season.
Another win for Wrexham would see them edge closer to a play-off spot, but they must be wary of the threat the away side possesses.
A result is difficult to predict, but plenty of goals are certainly on the cards as both teams will likely go for it in what promises to be a thriller.
