Wrexham are unbeaten in the league since mid-October
Blackburn stand just four points clear of the relegation zone
Recommended bet: Wrexham to win
After a fairly underwhelming start to life in the second tier, winning three of their opening 10 matches, Wrexham have turned things around recently.
They have not tasted defeat in the Championship since October 18th against Stoke, with the high point coming against Coventry a couple of weeks later.
That 3-2 victory suggests Phil Parkinson's side have the talent to finish in the top half of the table.
Blackburn, however, are languishing way down in 18th position and, to make matters worse, they are just four points away from the drop zone heading into this clash.

Team news
Parkinson will be without Lewis Brunt, Issa Kabore, Elliot Lee and Ollie Rathbone for the home tie on Saturday afternoon.
Liberato Cacace is a doubt and it remains to be seen whether he returns for this game, while in more positive news, Lewis O'Brien is available after his suspension.
Rovers are in the midst of an injury crisis. The likes of Balazs Toth, Scott Wharton, Jake Garrett, Augustus Kargbo, Sondre Tronstad and Hayden Carter will all miss out this weekend.
The game will come too soon for Todd Cantwell as he is also recovering from injury.
The stats
The last time these two clubs met was in the FA Cup in January 2024. On that occasion, Rovers won 4-1, although Wrexham were in League Two at the time.
Prior to that, you have to go back all the way to March 1982 for the last league meeting between the clubs and overall the Welshmen have won just four times against Blackburn.
This season, the Dragons have one of the better defensive records in the second tier, conceding only 19 goals – only five teams have conceded fewer goals.
Blackburn may have shipped just two goals more, but their lack of proficiency in attack is the reason why they are in 18th position.
Wrexham have scored six more goals than their opponents and have found the back of the net in all but three of their 17 league fixtures this season.

Prediction
The home side are certainly in a good place and another win this weekend could see them move closer to the play-off places.
Parkinson has his team clicking together nicely heading into the frantic festive period, which could ensure they retain their Championship status for next season and potentially challenge for much more.
Blackburn have no such guarantee and unless they turn a corner over the coming weeks, they will be dragged into a potential relegation dogfight.
As such, expect Wrexham to continue their recent impressive run and claim another Championship victory this Saturday.
