West Brom have only suffered one defeat on home soil, losing to Derby County just after the first international break.
Thanks to Tuesday evening’s 1-1 draw with Norwich, Sheff United are now unbeaten in six ahead of Friday night’s clash at the Hawthorns.

After a slow start to the season Sheffield United are finding for under Chris Wilder and the Blades are unbeaten in six Championship games ahead of a trip to the Hawthorns.
West Brom have lost three of their last five games and could be leapfrogged by the visitors, if things go the wrong way.
Team News
The hosts are without Manchester United loanee Toby Collyer and club captain Jed Wallace, as both players continue to struggle with calf strains.
Alex Mowatt may be joining this pair on the treatment table, after the experienced midfielder was withdrawn late on in the first half of Tuesday’s 3-2 loss at St. Mary’s.
It looks as if Joe Wildsmith has wrestled the number one jersey away from Josh Griffiths, with the former England Under-21 international starting each of the West Midlanders’ previous two matches. After serving a one-match suspension, centre-back Nat Phillips headed home a late consolation against Southampton.
Wilder is unable to call upon the services of injured trio Ben Godfrey, Tom Davies, and Chiedozie Ogbene, although he will have been buoyed by the return of midfield duo Ollie Arblaster and Tahith Chong in midweek.
Although both players managed the best part of an hour, it appears Curaçaoan international Chong may have further aggravated his knee problem.

The stats
Both teams have scored in each of West Brom’s last six matches.
The Baggies have only registered two triumphs since the middle of October.
Sheffield United recorded a draw for just the second time this season on Tuesday night, after sharing a 0-0 stalemate with QPR at the beginning of last month.
The South Yorkshiremen have kept four clean sheets in their last six Championship outings, although did concede twice at Leicester City’s King Power Stadium.
Prediction
There’s been plenty of low-key affairs at the Hawthorns of late, with home fans only witnessing 19 goals – 11 of which they’ve been able to celebrate – so far this season. However, three of the Baggies’ last five outings have concluded in 3-2 scorelines, so it seems as if Ryan Mason is slowly starting to release the shackles.
In stark contrast, Sheffield United were involved in plenty of high-scoring contests early on, but have since improved defensively without sacrificing too much of their attacking energy. Nevertheless, the Blades have scored and conceded more goals on the road than at Bramall Lane this term, so expect them to flood forward from the first whistle on Friday night.
Given West Brom’s impressive home record and United’s recent productivity in the final third, don’t be surprised if this one plays out as an entertaining draw.
