Stoke currently sit second in the Championship table
Hull have lost their previous two league matches
Recommended bet: Stoke to win and both teams to score
Stoke find themselves well in the hunt for an automatic promotion slot as they look to make a return back to the Premier League for the first time since 2018.
They trail leaders Coventry City by 10 points, but the Potters have enjoyed an excellent first few months of the 2025/26 campaign.
Hull currently occupy 11th place in the Championship table, yet the club sit just two points off a play-off place.
The Tigers did suffer a 2-0 defeat against Ipswich last time out, however, but manager Sergej Jakirović will be looking for a reaction this weekend.

Team news
Stoke do not have any long-term injury problems to worry about, but there are a couple of doubts for the clash against Hull.
Ben Wilmot picked up a knock during the midweek victory over Charlton and might not be fit to play a part this weekend.
Elsewhere, Lewis Baker looks set to also miss the tie as he recovers from an ankle problem, although he could return at the start of December.
For the away side, John Lundstram, Oli McBurnie, Liam Miller and Eliot Matazo will not be fit for the game at the bet365 Stadium.
Nathan Tinsdale and Kasey Palmer are also out of action and will not appear until later next month.
The stats
These two clubs have met plenty over the years, with Stoke having the better of the head-to-head.
Since the beginning of the 2018/19 season, there has been a total of 12 meetings between the clubs. Overall, the Potters have won seven of those, while Hull have emerged victorious in four matches.
Two or more goals have been scored in 11 of those 12 matches while both teams have scored in three of the previous four clashes between the clubs.
Stoke have the finest defensive record in the second tier, conceding a measly 12 goals across 17 matches, four goals fewer than Ipswich who rank second for this metric.
Hull, however, have the second-worst defensive record, conceding 29 goals. Only Sheffield Wednesday have shipped more with 33.
Having scored 25 and 28 goals respectively, this match could feature plenty of goals in what is likely to be an entertaining matchup between the sides.

Prediction
Stoke returned to winning ways against Charlton on Tuesday evening and this sets them up nicely for the visit of Hull.
The Tigers have not tasted victory since before the recent international break, but they do have plenty to offer in the final third and will make things difficult at Stoke on Saturday.
Despite this, the home side will have too much in the tank and should secure all three points.
