The stats

Indeed, the Loftus Road outfit have not defeated Boro since a 2-0 win back in September 2023.
Since then, the Teessiders have scored 11 goals and conceded just three across the subsequent four meetings.
QPR have conceded seven goals in their previous two Championship matches, scoring no goals in the process.
The Loftus Road side have won only three league games this year, two of those coming at home.

Rumarn Burrell is QPR's top scorer this season with 10 goals in all competitions. He is the only player to reach double digits for the Hoops.
For Boro, Morgan Whittaker has hit 11 goals this term, leading the scoring charts by four from Tommy Conway.

Prediction
QPR head into this game desperate to end their poor run of form that sees them languishing in 15th place in the table.
At one stage it looked as though the Londoners might challenge for a play-off spot, but mid-table mediocrity looks most likely now.
For Boro, however, a place in the Premier League is looking more and more realistic as the season progresses.
A win at Loftus Road would allow them to remain in the second automatic promotion spot and, while they could trail Coventry by eight points by kick-off, Kim Hellberg's visitors should have enough quality to get over the line.
