Derby are making great Championship progress with five straight wins
Watford are searching for their first away success of the campaign
Recommended bet: Derby to win
Derby have dragged themselves away from the lower reaches of the Championship table with a run of five successive victories and they will be confident that they can boost their progress further with a win over Watford at Pride Park on Saturday.
The Hornets’ only defeat in their last five matches was at top-of-the-table Coventry, but they have struggled on the road and look vulnerable as they travel to one of the second tier’s most in-form outfits.

Curtis Nelson remains sidelined with a serious knee injury and Derby manager John Eustace will also be unable to call upon midfielder David Ozoh, who has a thigh problem. Meanwhile, Lewis Travis is out with a calf issue.
Watford are having to make do without Giorgi Chakvetadze, who is still recovering from a foot injury, and Rocco Vata, who has a hamstring problem.

Prediction
The last thing Derby supporters will have wanted to see was an international break halting their team’s progress, but there looks a good chance John Eustace’s side will hit the ground running when they head back into Championship action against Watford on Saturday.
It looked as if the Rams could be in for a season of struggle when they won just one of their opening 10 league games, but they have been a changed outfit in the last month, claiming victories over Norwich, QPR, Sheffield United, Hull and Blackburn.
Three of those teams are in the bottom six, but those victories will have done wonders for confidence levels around Pride Park and striker Carlton Morris has been a big hit since joining from Luton, scoring six goals in his last four games, including all three in the 3-1 success at Bramall Lane.
Watford have claimed a 3-0 home win over Middlesbrough and draws against Ipswich and Bristol City in their last three games, but the Hornets have yet to taste victory on the road this season.
The Hertfordshire side’s win over Boro has been the only occasion when they have kept a clean sheet this season and they could struggle to keep the rampant Rams at bay.
