Coventry are top of the Championship
Leicester are down in 12th, 15 points adrift
Recommended bet: Coventry to win and both teams to score
Championship leaders Coventry City should get back on the winning trail when they host Leicester City on Saturday.
The Sky Blues are six points clear of Middlesbrough at the top of the table but that lead could be cut to three by the time Frank Lampard's side run out against the Foxes at lunchtime on Saturday, as Boro go to West Brom on Friday evening.
Coventry are yet to win in 2026 and have now failed to pick up a victory in their last four games in all competitions.
Leicester sit down in 12th, 15 points worse off than their opponents, but approach the short trip across the Midlands in decent shape after recent victories over the Baggies in the league and Cheltenham in the FA Cup.
Team news
Coventry could welcome back key attacking duo Brandon Thomas-Asante and Victor Torp following their recent return to training. Kaine Kesler-Hayden and Oliver Dovin remain on the sidelines for the hosts, though. For Leicester, boss Marti Cifuentes has a decision to make over Wout Faes with Jannik Vestergaard set to be ruled out with an ankle injury. Faes is the obvious choice to replace Vestergaard at centre-back but he has not featured yet this month after making it clear he wanted a move away from the King Power Stadium in the transfer window. Harry Winks is another player out of favour with the Foxes boss at the moment and he is unlikely to be recalled against Coventry, but Boubakary Soumare could be fit to return to the squad. The Foxes are still without injured trio Aaron Ramsey, Harry Souttar and Victor Kristiansen.
The stats
Coventry have failed to win any of their last four games in all competitions. The Sky Blues have the best home record in the division with nine wins, two draws and just one defeat. Coventry are the top-scorers in the Championship with 57 goals — 20 more than Leicester. Leicester have scored in their last 10 games in all competitions. The Foxes have won just four of their 13 away league games this season. Only bottom-of-the-table Sheffield Wednesday (51), QPR (39) and Norwich (39), have conceded more than Leicester's tally of 38 goals in the Championship.

Prediction
Leaders Coventry have stuttered in recent weeks and are still searching for their first victory of the new year after being knocked out of the FA Cup by Stoke last weekend.
They remain in a great position to win the Championship, sitting six points clear of Middlesbrough going into this weekend's fixtures, but will want to put an end to that worrying four-game winless run when they host Leicester.
Another slip-up from Lampard's men will fuel fears that the leaders, who were so impressive in the early months of the campaign, are getting the promotion jitters.
And with Boro, Ipswich, Preston and Millwall all waiting to pounce on any more mistakes, Coventry can ill-afford anything other than a victory on Saturday.
Leicester boss Cifuentes was under pressure just a few weeks ago but an improved run of form, which has seen his side beat Derby and West Brom and Cheltenham in the FA Cup, means his position at the King Power looks safe — for now.
The visitors will likely find it tough against a fired-up Coventry, who will be determined to reassert themselves in the title race, but Leicester can at least extend their 10-game scoring run in defeat.
