Birmingham have acquired 35 of their 53 points this season at home
Blackburn are just four points clear of the relegation zone
Recommended bet: Birmingham to win and both teams to score
Birmingham City entertain relegation-threatened Blackburn Rovers on Good Friday in the Championship, with both teams struggling for form as we approach the business end of the campaign.
Mid-table Blues are 10 points off the play-off places, while Rovers are only four clear of the relegation zone.
Team News
Blues boss Chris Davies is extremely short of options on the left-hand side of defence, as three of his full-backs remain on the treatment table.
Alex Cochrane sustained a serious ankle injury in early January, while Kai Wagner is nursing a shoulder issue and Lee Buchanan remains out long term.
After both players suffered a bout of illness prior to the international break, August Priske and Tommy Doyle are now back to full fitness.
Blackburn were robbed of both of their wing-backs during the New Year’s Day defeat to Wrexham, as Matty Litherland and Ryan Hedges trudged off with injuries.
Hedges could return next month, but Litherland — alongside Scandinavian trio Axel Henriksson, Sondre Tronstad, and Andri Gudjohnsen — is expected to be out for the remainder of the season.
Defensive duo Lewis Miller and Hayden Carter also face long spells on the sidelines, but Connor O'Riordan and Augustus Kargbo — who are both nursing thigh injuries of varying severity — should be back next month.

The stats
Birmingham have only managed to keep one clean sheet since February’s goalless draw with West Brom.
The Blues continue to be plagued by inconsistency this term, having won 14, lost 14, and drawn 11 of their 39 Championship contests.
Michael O'Neill’s Blackburn have only won one of their last six fixtures.
Only rock-bottom Sheffield Wednesday have scored fewer goals than Blackburn in the Championship this term.
Prediction
Following an impressive eight-match unbeaten run at the beginning of the year, Birmingham were confident of mounting a late play-off charge.
However, they have only managed one victory since that positive sequence of results, a narrow 1-0 home triumph over QPR.
Nevertheless, the hosts head into this one as clear favourites. Blues have registered 33 goals in front of their home supporters this season, while conceding just 19 times at the other end.
Although three of their last four outings have produced 1-0 scorelines (two in their favour and one against), City will be confident of finding the net on at least a couple of occasions against a vulnerable Rovers outfit.
That is not to say that the visitors will not put up a fight.
Blackburn may have already lost eight times since the turn of the year, but did manage to accrue four points from their meetings with promotion-chasing Millwall and Middlesbrough ahead of the international break.
Thanks to their victories at the Den and a handful of other tough venues, Rovers will be hopeful of springing a surprise at St. Andrew's.
Davies' side should ultimately prevail, but may face one or two setbacks in their pursuit of all three points.
