Juventus midfielder Douglas Luiz was called up to the Brazil national team for upcoming friendly matches against Australia.

The 28-year-old had not been included in the Brazil squad since July 2024.

A video posted by his girlfriend on Instagram shows the Juventus midfielder fighting back tears after learning that he’d be playing for his national team again.

Douglas Luiz made his senior Brazil debut in 2019 and has 18 international appearances.
