Brazil made it back-to-back friendly wins in four days on Saturday. After beating Australia 4-2, they brushed aside India 4-0. Estêvão, Pedro dos Santos and Samuel Lino, twice, scored in Kolkata. PSV's Mauro Júnior also impressed off the bench.

On the bench at the Vivekananda Yuba Bharati Krirangan Stadium, Mauro came on after an hour for Arthur Dias. Ancelotti picked no fewer than six players from the Brazilian Série A. Vinícius Júnior, Andrey Santos, Marquinhos, Douglas Santos and Estêvão also started.

Just before the half-hour mark, Estêvão put the Divine Canaries ahead. Matheuzinho fed the Chelsea forward, who squared up his direct opponent. Estêvão then made room for the shot and drilled the ball into the near corner beyond goalkeeper Gurpreet Singh: 0-1.

With that, Estêvão had his first goal of the season. The right winger had found his rhythm and grabbed his first assist before the break. Estêvão played Pedro through at exactly the right moment. The Flamengo striker ignored the unmarked Vinícius and finished clinically: 0-2.

Shortly before Mauro came on, Brazil struck for a third after the break. Pedro teed up his Flamengo team-mate Lino with a neat backheel, and the former Atlético Madrid defender curled home with his right foot: 0-3.

Deep into stoppage time, Lino added the fourth. Mauro teed him up, and Lino cut inside before again scoring with his right foot. Mauro had also done the defensive work in the move by clearing an Indian effort off the line.

So Brazil kept the clean sheet and will be back in action in November. The five-time world champions then face Japan and Singapore.
