Bo Svensson's FC Copenhagen hold a commanding 3-0 lead over Debrecen from the first leg.

Copenhagen have one foot in the next round of the Conference League and they will look to get the job done in style against Debrecen on Wednesday.

The Danish outfit travelled to Hungary last week and totally outclassed their hosts and secured a 3-0 win.

Goals from Gabriel Pereira, Robert and Andreas Cornelius helped Copenhagen secure a first-leg success and they will expect to book their spot in the play-off round with ease.

Team news

Copenhagen boss Bo Svensson may opt to make changes due to the comfortable advantage his team have built, but he may also want to make sure the job is done before resting players at the break.

Svensson is without several first-team players through injury, with Magnus Mattsson and Rodrigo Huescas both still recovering from ligament injuries, although the pair are due to return at the end of the month.

Youngsters Viktor Dadason, Dominik Sarapata and Hunor Nemeth are all sidelined with injury and will not feature.

Debrecen manager Gert Remmel is only without defender Sergi Samper, who has spent the last few weeks sidelined with a muscle injury.

The stats

Copenhagen endured a year to forget last season as they only won eight of their 22 league games, which saw Jacob Neestrup replaced by Svensson in March.

Svensson has taken charge of 15 competitive games since his appointment, with Copenhagen losing only once since then.

Including friendlies, Copenhagen have won nine of their last 10 at home, but have conceded in four of their last five matches this season.

Debrecen have won two in six, while they have lost three of their first six games of the new campaign.

Prediction

Complacency could be a worry for Copenhagen's fans but, with the second leg at home, they should be able to outclass Debrecen for the second time in a week.

The Danish side registered 10 shots on target compared to Debrecen's two in the first leg and, while they have struggled to keep clean sheets so far this season, the Hungarians' inability to create chances is a big problem.

Away from home, they should struggle even more than they did in the first leg, and Copenhagen will want to keep things tight and build some momentum heading into the play-off round.
