Key Real Madrid player set to extend contract until 2028

Even beyond Courtois, Real Madrid are convinced they have this position well-covered for several years to come. Andriy Lunin remains an ideal backup for the Belgian, as he performs whenever called up and does not create any problems despite knowing that he is a backup to Courtois.

Furthermore, several players from the youth academy, including Mestre, Arroyo, Quetglas, Álvaro, Illia Voloshy, Guille Ponce, and especially Javi Navarro, are all promising options for the future.
