Atletico Madrid beat Club Brugge 7-4 on aggregate in the knockout phase play-off round
Tottenham qualified automatically for the last-16 stage after finishing fourth in the League Phase
Recommended bet: Back Atletico Madrid to win and over 3.5 goals
Atletico Madrid will be hoping to turn up the heat on Tottenham boss Igor Tudor when the two teams clash at the Metropolitano in the first leg of their Champions League last-16 tie on Tuesday evening.
Former Juventus coach Tudor has lost all three matches since being appointed Spurs manager until the end of the season and a poor result in Spain could see him sensationally sacked, with the board rumoured to be weighing up possible replacements.
It is a dire time for last season's Europa League winners, who find themselves just one point above the Premier League relegation zone and in serious danger of dropping into the Championship.
Atletico have been off the pace in the LaLiga title race, as they sit 13 points behind leaders Barcelona, but they have a Copa del Rey final coming up in April and will be eager to keep progressing in Europe.

Team news
Atleti have an almost clean bill of health for this clash, with Rodrigo Mendoza the biggest doubt after he came off at half-time in Saturday's win over Real Sociedad with an ankle issue.
Pablo Barrios has been suffering with a hamstring problem of late, but he is pushing to be back available for this contest.
Tottenham's injury list remains lengthy with Wilson Odobert, James Maddison, Dejan Kulusevski, Ben Davies, Lucas Bergvall, Mohammed Kudus and Rodrigo Bentancur all sidelined.
Radu Dragusin missed Thursday's defeat to Crystal Palace with a knock and will need to be assessed, while Djed Spence and Destiny Udogie are closing in on returns and could be involved in the matchday squad.
Captain Cristian Romero is back after serving a domestic ban and fellow centre-back Micky van de Ven's red card against the Eagles does not apply to European competition.
The stats
Atletico have won four of their last five matches in all competitions and there have been over 3.5 goals in their last four home games.
Tottenham have lost all three matches under new boss Igor Tudor, conceding nine goals.
Over 3.5 goals has been a winning bet in two of those three assignments.
Atletico have won four of their five Champions League fixtures at the Metropolitano this season, with three of those victories producing at least four strikes.

Prediction
It has been a sorry season for Tottenham when it comes to domestic action and they have been dragged into the Premier League relegation scrap, with a single point separating them from Nottingham Forest in 17th and 18th-placed West Ham.
Former boss Thomas Frank did manage to get a tune out of his side in Europe, taking 17 points from eight League Phase games to finish fourth, but that was not enough to save his job and he has since been replaced by Tudor.
It has not been an easy start for the ex-Juve chief, who has seen his side lose home matches to Arsenal (4-1) and Palace (3-1) either side of a 2-1 loss at Fulham.
Conceding goals has undoubtedly been the main issue for Spurs, who have the joint fifth-worst defensive record in the English top-flight and have looked even more fragile at the back since Tudor's appointment.
This does not bode well as they come up against an Atletico side who have scored at least three goals in their last four home matches, all of which have ended in victories for the hosts.
But Atleti have been susceptible at the back, keeping just one clean sheet in their last six outings, and Tottenham should be able to get on the scoresheet, albeit it will likely be in defeat.
