Watch: Milan loanee Nkunku bags assist just one minute into Leipzig return

Christopher Nkunku got off to a good start at RB Leipzig earlier today as he bagged an assist just a minute after coming on.

After making the decision to exclude him from the squad, both in training and in matches, Milan reached an agreement with Leipzig over a loan transfer. There is also an option to buy included, which means the Rossoneri are hoping for good performances this season.

The perfect start would perhaps be a goal, but Nkunku came pretty close in Leipzig’s 3-0 win over Borussia Mönchengladbach earlier today. Just one minute after he came off the bench, he assisted Rocco Reitz for the final goal.

The Milan loanee picked up a loose ball and ran at the defender, waiting for the run of Reitz before sending a perfectly weighted pass into his path. Let’s hope that he will continue like this, because then Leipzig will surely trigger the €28m option to buy.
