"Embarrassing" - Fans react as Dortmund trail Hoffenheim at the break

Borussia Dortmund are trailing 1-0 at the break against Hoffenheim in their second Bundesliga game of the season and fans have torn into them for an abject display.

Leon Avdullahu broke the deadlock for Die Kraichgauer right at the stroke of 45 minutes to give the home side the lead.

Coming into the fixture on the back of consecutive wins over Hamburger SV (in their league opener) and HEBC (first round of the DFB-Pokal), the BVB were favorites to prevail once more, especially with Hoffenheim starting their top-flight campaign with a loss.

But, the match in Sinsheim has been frustrating for Dortmund so far, who've had just one shot on target despite holding a majority of possession at 52% and having most of their first-team stars back in the XI too.
