Al-Sibari competes with the Bayern Munich duo for Musiala's position
Bayern Munich boast an abundance of attacking options
Bayern Munich have made their position clear on signing a new player this summer to cover for star Jamal Musiala, who is suffering from a neurological disorder, according to a press report.
German journalist Florian Plettenberg of "Sky" reports that Bayern continue to give Musiala their full support and have no intention of entering the transfer market to replace him. The team have several options to fill the attacking midfield role, chief among them Lennart Karl, Ismael El Ghannari and Serge Gnabry.
Musiala had been out for around six months with a fractured fibula and a dislocated ankle. He returned to feature for Bayern in the second half of last season, then went on to play at the 2026 World Cup with Germany.
Today, Wednesday, Musiala announced that he was undergoing medical monitoring after suffering two falls on the pitch within three days.
The Germany international said doctors had diagnosed his condition as temporary and treatable neurological disorders, with no serious health risks to him.
He fell without any contact during the Bavarian side's friendly win over Leipzig (3-1) last Saturday, just minutes after coming on as a substitute and scoring the third goal. The same thing happened again during Bayern's victory over Heidenheim (4-2) yesterday, Tuesday.
