After a thrilling FA Cup weekend, the football does not stop with a double dose of Premier League Matchdays this week.

As well as the fallout from the shocks and heartbreak over the past three days, we look at the new faces set to light up the top flight.

Magic of the Cup

A fourth round that kicked off with Middlesbrough’s penalty shootout win at Manchester United ended with Boreham Wood’s famous 1-0 victory at Bournemouth.

Kidderminster came ever so close to causing an even bigger shock against West Ham, while Plymouth were a converted penalty away from taking Chelsea to a shootout.

Both familiar and unfamiliar names lit up the famous old tournament and we have picked out the stars of the weekend.

Foxes in a hole

A harrowing 4-1 FA Cup defeat to rivals Nottingham Forest yesterday has heaped the pressure on Leicester boss Brendan Rodgers.

The Foxes have had to deal with unprecedented injury problems this term but it was the meek display at a vociferous City Ground that had the travelling faithful up in arms.

After finishing fifth in the Premier League table for the last two seasons, Rodgers’ men may struggle to end the campaign in the top half unless they can change the mood in the East Midlands.

New kids on the block

With Chelsea on Club World Cup duty in Abu Dhabi this week, there are nine Premier League midweek fixtures to look forward to.

And for everyone bar Burnley and Watford, it is the first time many new signings will experience the English top flight.

We have picked out the new faces to keep an eye on over the coming weeks and months.
