Luke Littler’s trophy hunt shows no sign of slowing down.
The world No.1 returned to European Tour action for the first time since March and immediately added another title to his collection, beating Luke Humphries 8-6 to win the Czech Darts Open in Prague.
It was another statement in an extraordinary 2026 season for the 19-year-old.
Littler successfully defended his World Championship crown at Alexandra Palace in January before adding the World Masters, UK Open, Premier League and World Matchplay titles. He also partnered Humphries to World Cup glory for England in June.
Now Prague belongs to him too.
Littler opened his Czech campaign with a 6-4 victory over Niko Springer, averaging 108.59, before defeating Krzysztof Ratajski 6-3 in the last 16.
He then demolished Danny Noppert 6-0 and produced another huge performance against Michael van Gerwen, averaging 106.6 during a 7-3 semi-final victory.
Humphries provided the final obstacle.
The pair exchanged the lead during a tight contest before Littler produced a 130 checkout to move 5-4 ahead. He eventually stretched that advantage to 7-4, although Humphries refused to disappear.
The defending champion recovered to 7-6 and missed two darts at double 16 which would have forced a deciding leg.
Littler punished him immediately, finding double 10 to complete an 8-6 victory and secure his sixth European Tour title.
More importantly, Prague has helped Littler move closer to another target.
Victory guaranteed his qualification for October’s European Championship in Dortmund, one of the biggest titles still missing from his collection.
“Dortmund’s obviously the one I’m chasing,” Littler said after his victory.
That ambition explains why his schedule has become increasingly selective. Littler does not need to play every tournament. He is targeting the trophies that matter to his growing legacy.
The European Championship runs from October 22-25, while the World Series of Darts Finals and World Grand Prix also arrive before then.
After everything Littler has already achieved in 2026, the remarkable part is that his season could still get considerably better. Prague was another trophy.
For Littler, it also looks like another step towards something much bigger.
