Series level after England won the second ODI on Thursday
England have lost five of their last eight one-day internationals
Joe Root has scored 175 runs in the first two matches of the series

India to bounce back from defeat and claim series
England restored parity with a four-wicket victory in Cardiff, but India can respond by winning the deciding ODI at Lord's on Sunday.
The tourists looked in control of the second match after Virat Kohli's fluent 65 helped them reach 178-3 before a dramatic collapse saw the final seven wickets fall for just 55 runs.
Despite that setback, India have looked the stronger side for much of the series, with Shubman Gill, Kohli, Shreyas Iyer and Washington Sundar all posting half-centuries across the opening two matches.
England's victory once again relied heavily on Joe Root, whose unbeaten 99 guided the hosts home in difficult batting conditions. Outside of Root, however, England's batting has struggled to produce consistent contributions against India's attack.
Lord's is also expected to provide another testing surface, with the pitch attracting criticism this summer for offering seam movement and inconsistent bounce.
Those conditions should suit India's disciplined bowling attack and make England's aggressive batting approach more difficult to execute.
India look the more complete one-day side, with greater depth in both batting and bowling and the visitors can bounce back from Thursday's disappointment and claim the series at the Home of Cricket.

Root to continue sensational run of form
Joe Root has been England's standout batter throughout this series and is the selection to finish as his side's leading run scorer once again at Lord's.
The former captain has amassed an unbeaten 175 runs across the opening two matches, following 76 in the series opener with a superb 99 not out in Cardiff.
On a pitch that offered movement and variable bounce, Root adapted better than anyone, producing a composed innings that guided England to a four-wicket victory.
His importance to England's batting line-up cannot be overstated. While Ben Duckett, Jacob Bethell and Harry Brook have all struggled for consistency against India's attack, Root has repeatedly shown the patience and discipline required in difficult one-day conditions.
England's own management acknowledge the challenge facing their younger players. Root admitted after the second ODI that many members of the squad are still learning on the job in 50-over cricket because they have not had the same level of experience in the format.
Root's ability to read conditions, rotate the strike and build an innings makes him England's most dependable batter. Having already carried the hosts through the first two matches, he looks well placed to top score again in Sunday's series decider.
