Southern Brave vs Northern Superchargers predictions: Rashid ready to test Brave batters

Adil Rashid has taken two wickets in each of his matches
Rashid is the second-highest wicket-taker in the competition's history
Recommended bet: Adil Rashid - Northern Superchargers Top Wicket Taker
Southern Brave take on Northern Superchargers at the Rose Bowl on Wednesday, with the hosts looking to maintain their winning start to The Hundred, having won both of their opening two matches.
The Superchargers began their campaign with a win, but fell to a five-wicket defeat in their second match of the group stages and will be looking to get back to winning ways on their trip down south.
The Brave have performed well in both of their matches so far, with runs and wickets being shared across their impressive squad.
Last season's runners-up look like contenders once again and are favourites to make it three from three on Wednesday evening.
However, they will not have things all their own way with the Superchargers boasting a strong squad and an excellent spin option in leg-spinner Adil Rashid.
The 37-year-old is the second-highest wicket-taker in the competition's history, behind the Brave's Tymal Mills.
However, with so much competition for wickets in the Brave attack, backing Rashid to be his side's top bowler looks more appealing.
Mills has to share opportunities with England fellow internationals Jofra Archer, Chris Jordan, Craig Overton and Reece Topley.

Team news
After back-to-back wins, the Brave are likely to keep changes to a minimum. The only difference between their line-ups in the opening two fixtures was Archer and Topley playing one match each.
This time, both could start, with either Overton or Mills potentially rested as part of the rotation policy to keep the fast bowlers fresh for the remainder of the competition.
The Superchargers made one change from their opening win, with Graham Clark coming in for David Miller.
Clark impressed in defeat, scoring 36 from 22 balls and will hope his performance was enough to keep his place ahead of the South African left-hander.
The top order is set to be the same with Zak Crawley, Dawid Malan, Michael Pepper and Harry Brook making up the top four.
The stats
Both sides ended the group stage on 11 points last season with five wins and two losses each, with the Brave progressing to the Eliminator stage ahead of the Superchargers courtesy of a better net run rate.
The Brave have started well this time out and look more than capable of making it to the knock-out rounds and will be aiming to go one better than their runner-up spot last year.
For the Superchargers, fourth place was their highest finish in the competition to date, and Andrew Flintoff's side will no doubt be wanting to continue their progress and make it to the Elimination round this year.
Rashid has taken two in each of their matches so far, conceding 25 and 18 runs in the process.
Imad Wasim is his only team-mate to have taken more with the left-armer claiming 2-20 and 3-19.
Against an experienced Brave team, Rashid will be key to keeping the run rate down and chipping in with wickets.

Prediction
The Brave are favourites for the victory after two impressive performances and look more than capable of continuing that run in Southampton.
However, the Superchargers are a tougher opponent than the Manchester Originals and Birmingham Phoenix, the league's bottom two sides and can make life difficult for the Brave.
Rashid's reliability and experience cannot be underestimated, 42 wickets in 602 balls in this format of the game is a major a sign of his tactical nous.
