Taylor to A Fletcher
Four runs. FOUR! Stafanie Taylor to Afy Fletcher. Off break length ball, down leg side on the back foot driving, well timed in the air under control past deep backward point for 4 runs. That brings the innings to a close, and Barbados Tridents Women have posted a challenging total on the board. After a steady rebuild through the middle phase, Maddy Green and Suzie Bates combined brilliantly to provide the late momentum, finding boundaries and keeping the scoreboard moving with smart cricket. Jamaica Empress fought back admirably with timely breakthroughs and disciplined spells, preventing an even bigger finish. The target is competitive but far from out of reach, setting the stage for an exciting chase in the second innings.
