Seales to M Santner
One run. Jayden Seales to Mitchell Santner. Length ball, wide outside off stump on the front foot driving, Played in the air under control to deep cover for 1 run. What a finish! New Zealand somehow cross the line and take an unassailable 3-1 lead with one game to go. Mitchell Santner held firm at one end and saw his team through a tense finish. The visitors were the favourites while the pair of Mark Chapman and Michael Bracewell were at the crease, but when they fell either side of the rain break the hosts came into the contest. Gudakesh Motie and Alzarri Joseph bowled crucial spells when their side needed it, but ultimately confusion and the dropped catch off Santner proved decisive.
