That's all here from Allan Border Field with South Australia running out 4 wicket victors and handing Queensland their first loss of the WNCL season. After being sent in to bat, Queensland started well in the first 10 overs, reaching 2/51. However, wickets began to fall at regular intervals going forward. Many of the batters made starts but were not able to go on with it. Player of the Match, Amanda-Jade Wellington starred with the ball taking 5/42 off her overs to dismiss the hosts for 180. The chase for the visitors started grimly, staring down the barrel of a bonus point defeat after being 5/57 from 12 overs. Up stepped captain Jemma Barsby and Emma de Broughe who put together a crucial 103 run 6th wicket partnership to guide the South Australian side home to a bonus point win.
