But how can you join in all the fun and watch along live without having Sky Sports? There are many ways in which UK Grand Prix fans and bettors can keep up with all of the action, and we are here to tell you just how! Keep reading on to find out more!
To be able to watch all of the action, including practice, qualifying, and the race for every Formula 1 race of the season, you will need to have a subscription to Sky Sports. It is Sky who have the rights to all of the F1 coverage from every weekend with a dedicated F1 channel. Customers can take out a package to watch the races alongside lots of other sports.
Channel 4 is where F1 fans and bettors can view the British Grand Prix for free! Rules around free-to-air coverage for home races enable viewers to experience this exciting option. Channel 4 also shows highlights from every race and qualifying session throughout the season. They will continue until at least 2026, showing the action at Silverstone, ensuring fans have a free-to-air option for the nation's home grand prix.
If you want to watch a specific Grand Prix race or weekend, or simply do not want to have to sign up for a Sky contract, there is the opiton to purchase Now TV. This can be as a six month contract or just a 24 hour day pass and is a great alternative depending on your preferences.
F1 bettors may also be able to access a live stream to the Grand Prix if streamed by any betting sites or apps. This may require an account to be created and for bettors to make a deposit, but it another alternative way to watch all of the racing action.
Channel 4 - An agreement that currently runs until 2026, the British Grand Prix will be broadcast live, free of charge for viewers on Channel 4. Fans of Formula 1 will know already that this is where they can watch the highlights from each weekend, but normally not the race itself. This is a once in a season opportunity!
