In reply, the Meteors also stumbled early, slipping to 4/73. Georgia Elwiss (58) and vice-captain Grace Lyons (67) responded superbly, combining for a 123-run stand to keep their side firmly in the hunt. A spirited 28 from 27 balls by Rachel Carroll gave ACT hope late in the innings, but regular wickets proved costly, and they ultimately fell 26 runs short. A hard-fought contest to close out the season here at EPC Solar Park.
