The Sydney Sixers comfortably chase down the target to secure their spot in the Finals. It was a blistering start in the power play, though they did lose a couple of early wickets. Steve Smith and Moises Henriques built on that start and maintained the run rate through the middle overs. Once Smith got out in the Power Surge it looked a bit nervy for the Sixers, but Sam Curran took control and played brilliantly to see the Sixers home with eight balls to spare. The Brisbane Heat bowlers fought hard, but they couldn't nail their death bowling to perfection. Xavier Bartlett managed to claim a couple of wickets, offering some resistance, but it wasn't enough. Sam Curran's impactful performance with both bat and ball earns him the Player of the Match award.
