Transfer Talk: Pogba unsure on PSG move amid increased interest

Paris Saint-Germain want to sign Paul Pogba but the midfielder is unsure about a move to the French giants.

Pogba’s deal at Manchester United runs out in the summer of 2022 and PSG are keen to add him to their star-studded squad.

They are undecided whether to test the water with a £45million bid now or wait a year to try and snap him up on a free.

But any move hinges on whether Pogba, 28, wants to move to the French capital.

Eurosport claim the Frenchman still dreams of playing for Real Madrid and knows he probably has one more lucrative contract left in his career.

Moving to PSG this summer, or signing a pre-contract agreement with them in January, would almost certainly rule out a future switch to the Spanish capital.

On top of that, United still want to keep Pogba and tie him down to a new deal at Old Trafford.

There is thought to be no rush on Pogba’s part to make a decision, even though The Athletic say discussions about his future are ongoing among his family and agent Mino Raiola.

Arsenal offer Inter swap

Arsenal have offered Inter Milan a swap deal as they look to land striker Lautaro Martinez.

Martinez, 23, has leapt to the top of the London club's wanted list as they search for a striker before the season kicks off. 

But they cannot afford to match the £75m asking price Inter have slapped on the Argentine’s head.

That is why Football Insider believe the Gunners have offered right-back Hector Bellerin as part of a player-plus-cash deal.

Bellerin, 26, is valued at £30m and Inter need a right-back to replace Achraf Hakimi, who has moved to PSG.

The Italian champions are strapped for cash and the Gunners are hopeful of taking advantage by bringing in Martinez.

He netted 17 times in Serie A and set up a further 10 goals as Inter ended a 10-year wait for a Scudetto in stunning fashion last term.

Should Martinez arrive at the Emirates, reports suggest Alexandre Lacazette would be allowed to leave.
