Premier League quartet Manchester United, Manchester City, Arsenal, Liverpool and Chelsea have all made contact with the representatives of Real Madrid star Vinicius Junior, reports TEAMtalk.

Real Madrid are desperate to tie the Brazil international down to a new deal at the Bernabeu and both parties have been locked in contract talks for the past 18 months.

However, Los Blancos are yet to find a breakthrough in their bid to convince Vinicius Junior to put pen to paper on a new contract.

And as Vinicius Junior enters the final year of his current deal, a number of Premier League heavyweights are believed to be monitoring the Brazilian.

Real Madrid may consider summer sale

Real Madrid would rather sanction the striker’s sale this summer than lose him on a free next year if they are unable to convince the 25-year-old that his future lies in the Spanish capital.

This means United, City, Arsenal, Liverpool and Chelsea are on red alert that the former Flamengo forward may potentially be on the market later this year.

The Premier League powerhouse sides wouldn’t be the only teams interested in signing Vinicius Junior this summer should Real Madrid entertain a potential sale.

Competition rife for Vini Jnr

German giants Bayern Munich and French champions PSG have also been monitoring Vinicius Junior’s contract talks with Real Madrid, while a number of Saudi Pro League sides are also prepared to splash the cash to lure the forward to the Middle East.

At this stage, however, Vinicius Junior isn’t pushing to leave the Bernabeu with talks over a new deal expected to resume before long.

Vinicius Junior has impressed for Real Madrid this season, scoring 11 times and laying on an additional five assists.

Real Madrid lose ground in title race

The forward, though, was unable to prevent Real Madrid from falling to a 2-1 loss to Mallorca on Saturday.

The defeat, combined with Barcelona’s 2-1 win over Atletico Madrid, leaves Alvaro Arbeloa’s side seven points off their rivals in the La Liga title race.
