Newcastle Set £100m Price Tag for Sandro Tonali as Arsenal, Man Utd and Man City Circle

Newcastle have slapped a whopping £100m price tag on Sandro Tonali as they look to ward off interest in their prized asset, according to talkSPORT.
Tonali was heavily linked with a blockbuster deadline day switch to Arsenal earlier this month as the Gunners weighed up a late move for a new central midfielder.
Arsenal were linked with deadline day move for Tonali
Premier League leaders Arsenal have lost Mikel Merino to injury, the Spaniard having undergone foot surgery this week.
And the north London side were wary about being caught short in a key area for the run in as Arsenal strive to secure a first Premier League title in over 20 years.
However, the Magpies steadfastly refused to cash in on the Italian in the winter window and will demand at least £100m to cash in on the former AC Milan man in the summer.
Tonali's agent coy on Tonali's future
The player’s agent, Giuseppe Riso, has remained coy on his client’s future, recently telling Italian publication Tuttosport: “Newcastle are having a hard time letting go of Sandro, and he wants to lead the club to the Champions League.
“These transfer discussions will take place later. We’ll see how the season ends and then we’ll decide what to do.
“There’s no preference at the moment. It’s still early. What we’re saying today won’t apply tomorrow.
“Newcastle couldn’t let him go now, and there’s no point in moving, especially since Sandro is very attached to the club.
“We’ll evaluate and decide what to do in the summer.”
Competition rife for Tonali
Arsenal, though, wouldn’t be the only Premier League side interested in Tonali should Newcastle entertain a possible sale at the end of the season.
Manchester United, who are looking to strengthen their midfield in the off-season, and Manchester City have also been credited with an interest in Tonali.
The Manchester pair are expected to add to their respective squad this summer, with Nottingham Forest star Elliot Anderson also a target for the pair.
Tonali himself is reportedly keen on a return to Italy, which has alerted Serie A giants Juventus.
The Old Lady are considering whether to pursue their interest in Tonali as they aim to revamp their squad.
Newcastle face Spurs on Tuesday
Tonali is expected to start for Newcastle when they take on Tottenham at the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium tonight.
Eddie Howe takes his men to the capital on a three-game losing streak, though they travel to a Spurs side that has won only two home league games this season.
