Juventus and Inter Milan Keen on Liverpool Star Alisson as Serie A Giants Plot Summer Transfer Battle

Juventus are prepared to rival Inter Milan as the pair consider a move for Liverpool goalkeeper Alisson, reports Italian publication La Repubblica.
The Brazilian has established himself as one of the best shotstoppers in world football following his arrival from Roma in 2018.
And the Serie A powerhouse pair are now looking to bring Alisson back to Italy as the duo weigh up their goalkeeper options.
Juventus and Inter want Alisson
Juventus were credited with an interest in Mike Maignan before the France number one extended his contract with AC Milan, forcing the Old Lady to look elsewhere.
Inter, meanwhile, are hoping to replace Yann Sommer at the end of the season with the Swiss star out of contract in the summer.
The Nerazzurri have made no move to extend Sommer’s stay, suggesting that they’ll be replacing the former Bayern Munich and Borussia Monchengladbach star.
Martinez and Vicario also linked with Serie A move
Aston Villa’s Emiliano Martinez has been linked with a move to Milan, as has under-fire first choice Tottenham man Guglielmo Vicario.
However, Inter may instead turn their attention to Alisson should Liverpool entertain the 33-year-old’s sale.
Alisson has a little over a year left to run on his current deal at Anfield but has again proven to be one of the best in his position.
It remains to be seen whether Alisson would want to extend his stay on Merseyside or seek a new challenge once the current campaign draws to a close.
Mamardashvili to replace Alisson?
Liverpool already have Alisson’s replacement on the books having signed Giorgi Mamardashvili from Valencia in 2024 before loaning the Georgia international back to Los Che for the 2024-25 season.
Even so, Mamardashvili remains second choice to Alisson at Anfield for the time being, though the 25-year-old, who has made 11 appearances for Liverpool this season, will want assurances on his future at the club.
The Reds resume league duties on Tuesday night when they make the trip to Molineux to face Wolves in a bid to make it five wins from their last six following Saturday’s 5-2 victory over West Ham.
