Arsenal, Chelsea and Man Utd Target Freiburg Midfielder Johan Manzambi in Summer Transfer Race

Premier League giants Arsenal, Chelsea and Manchester United are keeping tabs on Freiburg youngster Johan Manzambi with a view to a potential summer transfer, reports TEAMtalk.
The Swiss midfielder is enjoying an impressive breakout campaign for the Bundesliga side, who currently find themselves in eighth place in Germany’s top tier.
Manzambi’s showings in the middle of the park haven’t gone unnoticed either with the Premier League trio all showing an interest in the 20-year-old.
Arsenal, Chelsea and Man Utd all linked with Manzambi
Arsenal are prepared to bolster their midfield this summer and have been linked with a move for Bayern Munich’s Leon Goretzka.
Chelsea, meanwhile, are expected to prioritise the position in the off-season and have routinely shown an interest in signing Europe’s hottest young talents.
In addition, United are believed to have scouted Manzambi ahead of a possible move this summer.
Like Chelsea, United are expected to bolster in a key area when the transfer window opens later this year.
Casemiro will leave Old Trafford when his current contract expires, while Manuel Ugarte’s future at the club is up in the air.
European sides eyeing up Freiburg star
The English sides aren’t the only teams keeping tabs on the Freiburg star, with Bayern and Bayer Leverkusen also said to be monitoring Manzambi’s situation.
PSG and Napoli are also tracking Manzambi, who is valued at around £43m by Freiburg as they look to ward off interest in one of their prized assets.
Turkish Super Lig side Galatasaray, fresh from their Champions League win over Liverpool on Tuesday, have also been credited with an interest in the midfielder.
Freiburg are enduring an indifferent campaign with the German side out of the race for European football but ultimately safe from the drop.
And they’ll hope to end a two-game winless run when they face Union Berlin on Sunday afternoon.
