AC Milan Eye Nicolas Jackson and Serhou Guirassy in Summer Transfer Boost Ahead of Champions League Return

Chelsea forward Nicolas Jackson and Borussia Dortmund hitman Serhou Guirassy are among the striker targets for Italian side AC Milan this summer, according to Italian publication Gazzetta dello Sport.
The Rossoneri bolstered their attacking ranks in the January window, bringing in German forward Niclas Fullkrug on loan from West Ham.
However, the Italian side are looking to strengthen further at the end of the season ahead of an expected return to European football.
AC Milan sit second in Italy’s top tier, albeit 13 points behind league leaders and city rivals Inter ahead of Sunday’s game against Cremonese.
And while they are expected to finish in the top four, AC Milan will seek to add attacking reinforcements when the transfer window opens later this year.
Jackson's next move will be determined this summer
Jackson has emerged as a potential option for the Milan powerhouse when the Senegal international’s current spell at Bayern Munich ends.
The 24-year-old moved to Bayern on deadline day last year, securing a loan switch to the German giants.
Jackson, though, has failed to make his mark in Bavaria this season having been restricted to just five league starts.
Even so, the former Villarreal man has bagged three league goals despite limited game time, and has directly contributed to three goals in the Champions League this season, scoring twice.
The striker will return to Chelsea at the end of the season, and the Blues will assess their forward options before making a final decision on the AFCON winner.
Guirassy also a target for Rossoneri
Jackson isn’t the only Bundesliga forward AC Milan are linked with, as they consider a move for Borussia Dortmund’s Guirassy.
Guirassy has enjoyed another commendable campaign, netting 11 times for Niko Kovac’s side.
The 29-year-old, though, started the recent 3-2 defeat to Bayern Munich on the bench as FC Hollywood came from behind to claim a decisive league triumph.
AC Milan aren’t the only European heavyweight considering a move for Guirassy, with Barcelona also credited with an interest in the Dortmund star.
Milan Derby looming for AC Milan
Max Allegri’s side have endured a dip in form recently having won only two of their last five league matches following their surprise 1-0 home defeat to Parma last time out.
And after Sunday’s game against Cremonese, AC Milan take on rivals Inter in the Milan Derby next weekend.
